Sit Still was created by a Portland mom, who left her corporate job after having her twin daughters to start her own business. She felt as though there was a need for a salon geared towards kids that gave great service as well as focused on the individual. A place where parents can relax, their kids can be themselves, and where people of all ages can get a great haircut.

Sit Still also carries adorable jewelry and accessories as well as quality toys. All of the hair products we use are organic and are professional salon hair care lines.

Children can play with toys or games, read a book, watch a show — and at the end of the appointment, they'll even receive a special treat! Your kids won't just sit still for their haircut — they won't want to leave!
